3/1/10 - Spring is here!! The land is green, game is plentiful...doesn't get no better than this in South Texas. Our weekends are filling up fast, we are booking April and May weekends already. Weekdays are always available if you want to get in sooner. March will be last month for Buffalo and fallow hunts until September. We will soon be taping shows for our new internet hunting show "LEGENDS OF THE BRUSH COUNTRY." Don't forget to take a kid on a ram hunt this year and keep our heritage alive!

2/10/10 - We are very excited about our own Youtube channel that will feature hunting videos taken on the ranch. We are still working to improve it even better, but we have posted a few videos of recent hunts to test the channel. We hope to keep adding more videos periodically and eventually hope to add videos submitted to us by you guys. To view the channel, go to youtube.com and type johnmexotics in the search bar. 2/10/10 - Congrats to Anthony Quintanilla! Anthony has been guiding hunters for many years at the ranch. He's known for his great personality and big heart. He and his wife recently opened the A&A Country Store in Benavides. They carry just about anything you need for your hunting trips...at the lowest prices and they have the only drive thru in town. 2/1/10 - Well Folks, sadly but another whitetail season has come and gone. Because of last year's record setting drought, racks were not up to their potential but we still managed to take some nice deer. Many great ones were passed up for next season and God willing we'll get the important rains at the right times this year. Now before you start putting that rifle away till next year, don't forget about our exotic deer hunts that are still available thru the end of March. There are some fantastic Axis, Fallow and Sika roaming the ranch. Come check us out this spring!

4/9/09 - Ram hunts will go up a bit starting July 1. The new price is $195. We still believe this to be the best hunt value package around.

1. Four Horn Ram - We were able to locate another great looking 4-Horn Ram. Priced right at $775. This is only the 2nd one we find this year. Don't lose out on this one of a kind trophy.

2. Scimitar Horn Oryx - Forget the hassles of planning a trip to Africa... come hunt a monster oryx for $2,950. These trophy bulls are awesome and their meat is some of the finest game you will ever have.

3. Blackbuck - It's that time of year again...Blackbuck hunts are back. We have some awesome trophies that are very dark at this time. Great price only at the ranch...$1850.

4. Buffalo (Bison) Bulls - Big Bulls with nice heads and horns and (of course all that delicious meat) available for a limited time at the rock bottom price of $1,850. We know times are hard so we are making super sales and passing the savings to our loyal hunters. UPDATE: Buffalo season closes end of March...Book before it's too late!

5. Big Fallow Bucks - Beautiful Spotted Fallow Bucks...your choice $2000 price drop $1850. These bucks have big palms and big spreads. Fallow drop antlers end of March, don't wait too long.

6. Monster Goats - Hear are two GIANT CATALINA GOATS that will blow open the record books!! We don't get many of these that often. On sale for $700 each. These big billies look like Longhorn Cattle!

7. Corsican Ram - This ram is an absolute beast! He has heavy mass from his bases all the way down his curls. He should easily go 30". Available for $1,000. If you want a ram worthy to hang in any trophy room, this is definitely THE RAM!

8. The All Time Classic Hunt - If you're just looking for a straight up "cheap" hunt, you can't go wrong with our $195 Ram Hunts. Two Nights of lodging included...Definitely the best hunt package in Texas and probably the entire USA!!!
